Mabee Foundation

The Mabee Foundation has commited to donating 2 million dollars to Fundamental Learning Center under one condition.. We must raise 3.8 million first!

This grant would bring us 10% closer to our goal of 20 million dollars for a building that will allow us to:

  • Expand our research and educational programs through the Andeel Teacher Literacy Institute to develop curriculum and to teach parents and teachers how to work with children with dyslexia and other reading challenges.

  • Establish an endowment, providing necessary scholarship dollars to the families of children who need FLC’s services. Most families lack the financial resources to provide critical alternative instructional
approaches that allow their children to soar.

  • Empower its work by advancing a holistic, confidence-building education for children with dyslexia hrough the Darrel & Dee Rolph Literacy Academy, transforming education as a laboratory environment for teachers and parents.
