We are facing a national reading crisis—72% of children over 4th grade in Kansas cannot read at a proficient level (NAEP 2024). Too many children are struggling, and without early intervention, they risk falling further behind.
At Phillips Fundamental Learning Center, we are taking action by equipping children with the literacy skills they need to read, write, spell, and thrive. We work with all children who struggle to read, especially those 1 in 5 students who are dyslexic.
