PHILLIPS Fundamental Learning Center Mission Statement

Phillips Fundamental Learning Center empowers children, especially those with dyslexia, by teaching them to read, write and spell; educates adults by providing research-based literacy programs for children; and enlightens parents and the broader community to the educational and health needs of their children.

70% of 4th graders in Kansas and nationally cannot read at a proficient level according to NAEP statistics in 2022.

Learning to read may become a struggle for them. As a parent, you might need our help. Call Phillips Fundamental Learning Center (PFLC), today!

Phillips Fundamental Learning Center was founded by Jeanine Phillips and Gretchen Andeel, both accomplished teachers, instructors of teachers and, most importantly, parents of kiddos with profound dyslexia. Hundreds of thousands of children now read and enjoy an enhanced life because of their efforts.

We visit, assess and develop a plan to help your child with dyslexia and help you find the answers you need when others haven’t been able to.

KNOW you and your child are not alone. Waiting is not an option.
