were just released and show a decline in scores
from 2022 in reading, math, and science.
This downward trend tells the unfortunate story
of our nation's 8th graders,
who were not proficient at reading
in 4th grade, now falling even further behind.

In August, KWCH, a local news station in Wichita, featured Phillips Fundamental Learning Center in
a report about Innovation in Education.
That report was picked up by national news outlet MSN highlighting the need for different and better ways of teaching literacy to struggling readers.
