Summer Reading Club at Rolph Literacy Academy


Reading is cool and RLA Summer Reading Club helps your reader stay on top of their reading skills before the next school year. This club is so fun it won’t even feel like they’re actually learning and broadening their reading horizon.

During this 6 week program, your child will read a different book each week and complete

a series of activities designed to strengthen their knowledge of phonics, improve their reading comprehension and writing skills. At the end of the club, your child will take home six books to add to their personal library.

RLA Reading Club dates: Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday / Thursday

June 7 - July 16,  1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Cost for the RLA Summer Club is $500 with a $100 non-refundable deposit

to reserve your child’s spot in the club.

Summer Literacy Program

Summertime is the best time to re-fuel and get a head start on reading, spelling and handwriting skills for the upcoming school year.

During this 6 week program, for one hour a day, Monday through Thursday we’ll introduce your child to basic reading skills and help them establish the procedures necessary for them to start to learn to read in a fun, interactive setting. 

If your child hasn’t experienced programs at Fundamental Learning Center before, and is between 5 and 10 years of age, then this summer literacy program is for you.

Class dates: June 21 - July 29, Monday - Thursday

child’s place in this powerful reading fundamentals class.

FLC uses Emerging Reader and Alphabetic Phonics, our evidence-based

reading programs to help children recognize the sounds and symbols

used to read and write.
