Friends Graduate Credit

Our workshop graduate credit hours are available (for an additional fee) through Friends University.  If you are interested in receiving credit hours, please follow the instructions listed below.

Enroll online at www.friends.edu/edworkshops prior to workshop for graduate credit.

Step 1:

Register for workshop at Fundamental Learning Center by phone (316-684-7323) or online (https://www.funlearn.org/enroll-call/pay-online/) and make your supply/material deposit.

Step 2:

  1. Go to the Friends University Teacher Education webpage located at friends.edu/edworkshops. Please bookmark this page, as this page contains all the links you will need for graduate credit information, transcripts, etc.
  2. Once you are on this page, please click on the tab located on the left-hand side labeled Information Request Form. Complete this form and submit! You must do this each term that you want to take an offering.

New Students Only

If you are new to Friends University, never having taken a workshop or class, your Information Request Form allows Friends University to begin the process of establishing you with a student identity. In two to three business days, you will receive an email from Friends University Information Technology department, providing a user identification number (student ID) and pin number (password). You will use these numbers for all registrations, so please keep them in a safe place. Once you have this information, you will be able to access the tab labeled Enrollment (Self-Service Banner). Self Service Banner contains all of your personal registration and payment activity through Friends University.

Returning or Current Students

If you have taken previous workshops, classes, or are a current degree-seeking student, then your Information Request Form allows Friends University Information Technology department to update your existing Self Service Banner (SSB) account each term.  Please wait one business day following the submission of your Information Request Form before trying to access your Self Service Banner account. This will provide time for the university to “refresh” your information and account, prior to registration. Then, after this time, you may enter your account and register/provide payments, as desired! If you have forgotten your password, or need help with access to your account, call Help Desk at 316-295-5767 during regular business hours or email helpdesk@friends.edu.
