Assessments
On average, Fundamental Learning Center receives 8 phone calls per day from parents who are desperately searching to find answers to help their children. These children are bright intelligent children who are frustrated, reluctant to go to school, often with headaches or stomach aches. Students frequently ask themselves, “What’s wrong with me?” with you asking yourself, “What do I do?”
While we do not diagnose, our research-based assessments allow us to analyze some of your concerns and thoughts that have lead you to this site.
The assessment offered at Fundamental Learning Center is for children and teens ages 5 – 18yrs. We look for the literacy “red flags” for a Specific Learning Difference that may be the root to the child’s struggles or frustrations.
We then visit with the parent(s) following the assessment and work together to determine a plan to help the child learn to read, write, or spell. After all, if you can’t read, write, or spell, how can a child do well in any subject in school? Or feel good about themselves in life?
